*sigh* Racism is not a thing of the past in this country. It is real and experienced daily by minorities. but one example...
Residents: Nooses spark school violence, divide town
Hanging nooses on a tree branch. School fights. And the black teenager tried as an adult, possibly facing 22 years in prison, on $90,000 bail. the victim of the beating was treated and release on the same day. What a shame on our justice system.
