Reason #5 to Love the Pacific Northwest
Natural beauty and the coming of spring...
I walked out of my house this morning, and within a block I could see the rugged snow-capped peaks of the Olympic mountains on the Penninsula. Right now the sky is clear and I am gazing at the Mountain in the distance (known outside of Seattle as Mt. Rainier)...
Despite the chill in the air and possible snowflakes to fall tomorrow, signs of spring are appearing. Some daffodills have opened up and buds have began to form on trees. Spring is upon us...slowly, surely on its way. All this at a time when it may as well be 2 degrees with a foot of snow on the ground in Valparaiso. Winters are milder here...
So, I don't know what the first four reasons to love the Northwest...I just thought it would be fun to post a random number.
