(Tyler this is mostly for you, since I know you like to know what grade I get on papers you help me edit)!
So I emailed my proffessor for the housing summer school class from last summer to see about my final paper so I could find out what grade I recieved on it and to make sure the class wasn't going to be a permanent incomplete on my transcript and here is part of her email.
"Your final grade for the paper was an A-. I was very pleased with the depth of content - very substantive. I found myself not paying attention to the mechanics of writing because I was engrossed in the reading - a very good sign".
She had told me to add more depth and I was worried that the paper was too long...but apparently 23 pages or so wasn't too much.
So thank you to Tyler and Chelsea (the two LJ folks) who edited my paper! And the others (Kendra) who offered to do so as well! I really appreciate it! And my hard work paid off. I would however, like to know what I needed to do to get an A...but I will stick with she is a hard teacher and I tried my best to edit and fix the rough draft I already had!
Yay for good paper grades on classes from over a year ago that you are finishing up at the last minute!
