Drunk at work - again....
Ok - so we have to work until 7pm on Monday and Tuesday...it was supposed to be temporary but it doesn't look like it's ending anytime soon.
So we just had our November sales meeting and as always, there's beer. So I quick grabbed a twisted tea b/c they usually go fast and I didn't notice how fast i was drinking it. So 10 minutes into the meeting I grabbed a 2nd, and then a 3rd. I never get this drunk at a meeting, but now that i'm working on #4 - I'm starting to get worried.
I think I should have gotten worried when my face started to feel flushed and I was laughing waaay too hard at our presidents not-so-funny jokes.
I'm not sure what I'm getting at...I guess I just think it's funny that my company has been SCREAMING about being more professional, they've made all these new rules about dress and conduct and then they go out and buy a shitload of beer. 2 hours before then "end-of-the-day." Typical.
