The worst part is the mental weirdness.

First the raw CT scan facts and conventional treatment. There are 3 areas of cancer: abdomen, lungs, and liver. The ones in my abdomen and lungs are "very minor". The ones in my liver have multiplied and grown. Dr. Citrin is putting me on Sutent, which is a known treatment for other cancers and expected

I'll continue sending Reiki, but know that it won't stop anything that is supposed to happen from happening. It will only make more graceful whatever process is natural, at least that's all I've ever seen it do. That means if you're supposed to get better, it will help that be easier, more painless, and faster.
If the natural process that you are undergoing is a dying process instead of a healing process, then it will help make that easier too, and help you get everything that you need to and want to get done while you still have the energy to get things done.
Whichever way, it will help somehow. That is, assuming it works.

Luckily, every source I've read says that it doesn't matter whether the Reiki practitioner believes in Reiki or not. It's nice to hear of a spiritual practice that doesn't actually demand that one believe in it. I mean, we agnostics like to be spiritual too. We just don't like to be told, "You have to have faith in this."
