TBT 28: Spiderman
Oh this picture! I just stumbled across it again! That is Jeff on the far left doing the.... um.... let's just call it the "happy" Spiderman dance! (UCI inside joke)
This was taken on an InterVarsity camping trip to Yosemite. I don't think Jeff and I were dating yet but we were definitely friends at this point. And actually, I think they were on this camping trip while I was in England with my mom --- Spring Break 2003. I could be wrong but I know I had a really good reason for not going on this trip!
The others are Matt - Jeff's best friend during his time at UCI, they were also accountability partners. Matt lives with his wife in Virginia and they just had a little girl this past May. He writes for the Huffington Post and is working on his PhD (I think?). Yvonne is next and Jared is all the way to the right. They are married with two kids - a girl and a boy - and live and do ministry in the heart of Los Angeles. After Yvonne is Jon, whom I have unfortunately lost touch with. We went to his wedding in 2010. And next is Thien, whom I have also lost touch with.
What fun times those were...
