HAPPY (very belated) BIRTHDAY AUDREY!!!
School started the day after Audrey's birthday. Life has been super crazy, hectic, busy, getting back in to the swing of things! So I apologize to Audrey for posting about your birthday so late! Here's what happened:
Saturday, August 1st: Audrey's Birthday Party!
Here is a video of all the fun we had at Audrey's Chefs Academy Birthday Party!
Audrey wanted a "Pinke Pie & Rainbow Dash" party but Mommy was too tired of hosting and planning for parties at parks or at home. So the Claremont Chefs Academy hosted us! All those cooking classes paid off! Audrey was right at home welcoming her friends to her party and participating in the cooking. The kids made pizza! This was one of the calmest kids birthday parties I'd ever been to! All the kids were so well-behaved and participated. It was just so cute! (Also, I was totally stoked that I was able to find a Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash dress for Audrey to wear! That combo of MLPs is hard to find! Thanks, Etsy!)
After the party, Gramps and Daddy worked in the hot HOT afternoon sun to put together Audrey's big birthday present from Gramps - A TRAMPOLINE! Audrey LOVES the trampoline. She bounces on it almost every morning. :) It's fun watching her bounce and get more control of her little body. She has to stay towards the middle of the trampoline for safety and is learning to catch herself on her own before she gets too close to the edge.
Wednesday, August 5th: Audrey Turns FOUR!!!
Audrey opened her presents from Mommy & Daddy in the morning. She got lots of fun things, including a talking "Disgust" doll from the movie "Inside Out." (That one had to be special ordered! It was like the hunt for the Elsa doll all over again - no Disney Stores had it in stock!) She also got a new My Little Pony, a minion plush doll, and some tiny dinosaurs.
Jeff and I went to work and Audrey went to preschool where she shared some Gushers with her friends. In the evening, we all went to Audrey's choice of restaurant - The Elephant Bar! Just like last year! Haha! This girl is one for tradition! We had a nice meal together and got a free dessert for Audrey birthday. She was so happy :)
