RAIN & Coco!
The day finally came! Jeff & I went to see RAIN at the Panteges Theater this past Saturday with our friends Bob & Cindi! We ate at Cleo's beforehand - delicious! I enjoyed the Grilled Octopus and Brussel Sprouts the best. ...yes, you read that right!
The show was AMAZING! It is still second to Cirque du Soliel's LOVE but fun nonetheless! I was singing along, dancing, and shrieking like a true Beatle maniac! Totally worth the stress of leaving Audrey with a baby-sitter.
And that stress was not needed! Audrey has really come to enjoy spending evenings with her baby-sitter, Coco. Sure, she broke down and had a fit when we left but Coco informed us that Audrey warmed up real quick to her after we'd gone. In fact, Audrey still talks about her evening with Coco!
When picking her up at daycare today, her teacher asked, "Does Audrey know what chocolate is?"
I was a little perplexed by this comment. "No...." I said.
The teacher continued, "She was talking about 'cocoa' during snack today."
I laughed and informed the teacher that Coco (not cocoa) is our baby-sitter! So even three days later, Audrey is still recalling her evening with her favorite baby-sitter! :)
