Five More TOP Events Since 2009
5. My brother got married in October. The family was out in Tucson for this event. Since the wedding, I have come to really enjoy spending time with my brother and my sister-in-law Cassie. We always have a lot of fun be it visits to Tucson, visits to L.A., or visits to Idyllwild.
Idyllwild 2011
4. Jeff and I have gotten really into exploring historic places in the L.A. area. We have several books we use to find interesting sites to visit. They are Vintage L.A. (with tons of vintage locales throughout L.A. county), Cruising the Pomona Valley (with driving tours of the Pomona Valley but mostly of Pomona *woot!*), Secret Stairways (with hikes up secret stairs in L.A.), and Walking Los Angeles (which again has walking tours throughout L.A.). We've gone on so many day trips to visit these different sites. It's hard for me to choose which adventure was my favorite! But one place has gotten on my rotation for must-see and must-eat in L.A.... Clifton's Cafeteria!!!
We always give Clifton's TWO THUMBS UP!
3.Jeff's family got us REALLY into the T.V. show LOST. For Valentine's Day 2011, we treated ourselves to the collector's edition of the series. We are now currently working our way through the series for the second time!
2. I started playing the ukulele in February 2009! I don't think I mentioned that here. I am part of the Claremont Ukulele Club and have even performed with the club at a few events! This year, I added Banjo Ukulele to my repertoire! It's fun to learn new instruments :)
Here I am getting ready to perform at the Cerritos Ukulele Festival in October 2010!
But the absolute number one event that has happened since 2009 is.....
1.) I'M PREGNANT!!!
This is what I look like TODAY! I am 23 weeks, 1 day, which is the start of the 6th month, which is the last month of the 2nd trimester!
And here is our Baby *GIRL*! This is from our 18 week ultrasound. You can see her sucking her thumb and check out those long legs!
Jeff and I are over the moon excited to FINALLY be pregnant. More on our TTC adventure in the posts to come!
