Dubito, ergo cogito; cogito ergo sum.

Does anyone on my flist know how the "I think, therefore I am" quote attributed to Rene Descartes is correctly written.

I can find two different forms of it by searching Google.

Dubito, ergo cogito; cogito ergo sum

or

Dubito, ergo cogito, ergo sum.

Wickipedia says that the phrase is often erroneously quoted, but it is not clear to me which is the correct quotation, or whether Wikipedia is actually saying that it is erroneously attributed to Descartes.

This is an important point in my current WIP. I would like to quote it correctly as in the story it is used by a professor.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
