The Keeper - Casting

May 19, 2008 01:37

I was just going through all my photos on photobucket, tidying up folders &c and came across the 'casting' pictures I used when I was writing my novella, The Keeper.

I thought others may enjoy seeing them. Those who have beta'd for this piece particularly. :) Pics behind the cut.

Rufus Sewell - Master Chambellan. This picture could have been taken from a scene in the novella. Rufus plays the Lord so beautifully. I think this pic is actually from a BBC production of Pride and Prejudice, (D'arcy) I may be wrong though, it has been known to happen.

Another of Rufie...love the dark, brooding look in this one. This is from a scene in Amazing Grace, I believe.

Our innocent hero, Thomas (Heath Ledger God rest him), This picture is taken from The Patriot
Thomas has always been played by Heath Ledger in my mind. Even more so since BBM.

Chambellan's trusted and beloved groom, Liam. I am not sure who this gorgeous boy is, or where I found him, but I knew as soon as I saw him, he was Liam. Liam does not groom horses, btw. He's a groom of an entirely different sort, but you'll have to read the book to find out.

Ioann Gruffudd as Captain Balfour. I mean, come on, this lad has wowed us as a seaman for years. He was the ONLY choice imo!

Okay, so Julian Balfour is a Privateer, and as such probably didn't wear naval uniform, but I included this one for the facial expression.

There you are, my take on what my boys look like.

I hope you liked it!
