This is good knitting weather, isn't it?

I'm dying to know, where is the best place to get wool? I am such a novice at such things. At the moment I am waiting on my mum to send me some beanie patterns. In the meantime I have bought some hand knitted beanies for my grandkids from a stall :)

I am going to look at Spotlight tomorrow, but to tell the truth, I haven't knitted in years and these are my first forays back into it. I'm told that Spotlight is pretty good for buying wool, though.

Spotlight, oh, how I hate Spotlight. I will be forced back there one day (Kawana). I saw some specials a while back at Crazy Clark's but they were probably very bad quality; also a distance form here. Oh well, I have enough yarn for now. Thanks for your reply!

We found some nice yarn at Spotlight, but also discovered that Big W has quite a good range. Shop in Summer though, because a lot of the colors had been picked over by the time we were looking today.
