Brian has contracted (Staphylococcus aureus) is a type of bacterium that can cause a range of mild to severe infections. It is a normal bacteria found in the nose and on the skin of up to 50 percent of all healthy adults and children. Antibiotic-resistant strains of golden staph evolved in the 1970s and have troubled hospitals world-wide with persistent infections in their patients ever since. http://www.healthinsite.gov.au/topics/Golden_Staph, which is what has set him back and made him so ill, but fortunately, it is not a multi-resistant strain so the doctors are treating it with anti-biotics and 'giving him a chance.'

My phone looks like it, too, may survive the cat pee incident, but it stinks to high heaven and I am going to replace it, anyway. Sandra is going to pay for it, since it was her cat who peed on it to begin with. She is coming home tomorrow as Brian doesn't appear to be in any immediate danger. This man is a marvel if he comes through this.

My short story Guardian, which I submitted to the Legendary Creatures Antho has been picked up as a single shot instead. It will release in August.

I am taking an early night and a sleeping pill tonight.

Ami, the peeing wonder cat is locked in the bathroom, and there she shall stay till I decide to forgive her.
