I had a really good time doing stuff for myself this morning. I tidied my study, dusted my desk, filed away a crap load of correspondence, bank statements, begging letters etc, and then on a roll, went and tidied and dusted my dresser in the bedroom and my bedside table. I felt a sense of accomplishment, so I kept going and wound up tidying the chair beside my bed, which had been giving me the horrors at night for a little while, appearing as a looming shadow beside the bed any time I opened my eyes. Not satisfied with all that, I then tore all the clothes out of the top of my closet, sorted them in to summer and winter refolded them, and put them back in, neatly.
Exhausted but happy after all that.
Tomorrow I have the first Exhibition workshop at the museum to attend, and then Wednesday is a big day. I have to have an endoscopy in the morning. NOT looking forward to that. Then in the evening, my youngest daughter is graduating high school so I will be attending that all mellowed out on whatever sedatives they give me for the endoscopy.
On Friday Nov 22nd I have a new release due out from Torquere Press. Hunter's Bond is a sip, and follows on from my short story Hunter's Kiss which appeared in Another Fine Mess.
So, as this entry's title suggests, I have decided I will drop off the radar for a few days. I enjoyed doing non computer stuff this morning and I think I need to do some more of it.
I will resurface on Friday to pimp Hunter's Bond over on the
torquere_social LJ but until then, I am taking a much needed break from cyber-life.
