Books Arrived!
I got a shipment of copies of my novel in the mail today. How exciting! I donated one copy to the local library, and I can't believe how nervous I was about doing that!
How hard is it to walk into a library and say: I wrote this book, and I would like to donate a copy of it to the library?
Bloody hard! Let me assure you!
But oh, how lovely to hold a copy of MY book MY BOOK in my hands.
The package had been opened by customs, of course, and one of the books was looking a little worn. I wonder how many people in Customs actually read it before sending it on? hehe. That kind of tickles me.
