School...Again.
I'm at school...AGAIN. This semester I get to go four days a week. All the way to the west campus. Luckily I finally changed my routine and decided to park in the back of the school..And there was more and closer parking! Yay! I'm starting to finally click in my classes. It was hard the first few days because they're all in ASL, save for my Intro to Interpreting class. Turns out my teacher for the class was an interpreter for a long time (something like 20-30 years), before they knew that you needed to take breaks and that there were exercises you needed to do to help stretch your wrists and arms and whatnot. In a nutshell, she's had three wrist surgeries in her life and can no longer interpret or do ASL for long periods of time. She assured us that we would learn how to take care of our 'tools' though, so that's a good thing. I really don't want to go through ANY kind of surgery if I can help it.
Anyways, yeah, three out of four classes are in ASL. No voice or anything. But, Jaime is in all four of my classes this semester so I have a friend, yay!
I've also got a new phone/phone number and I mass texted people but only like..two responded, which made me feel very sad. :( I'm also on Twitter, but my posts are boring, so whatever. Anyways. William should be getting out of class soon.
