Remember that time you met all these amazing people who made you wonder what you did without them all these years?
And remember when you became so close that you literally would trust any one of them with your life at any given moment?
How about when every weekend it was a given that you'd all be together, it was just a matter of at whose house at what time?
Remember when nobody talked about so-and-so's attitude problem; when there weren't several little groups all talking about the others and putting up a front in person, just one big group of friends?
Well do you?
Remember when these people who you criticize and pick apart were your best friends in the world who you'd stick up for in a second if anybody said things half as bad as what you say about them now?
When did we decide friendship should take a backseat to all our personal lives?
Things change. People change. Circumstances change.
For the most part, those things are beyond your control.
But friendships shouldn't just change. Not real friendships.
