Old Games!
gog.com is awesome. It's a site for cheap game downloads (we're talking $9.99 or less) of slightly older games. Monica bought me a digital download of Myst today (because I had a bad fucking day at work and needed to be in the Channelwood Age SO BAD, and she said it was an early Christmas present ^_^) AND IT WORKS IN VISTA. o.o IT WORKS IN VISTA. OLDER GAMES THAT WORK IN VISTA.
I'm totally getting Riven once they get it set up, and freaking SANITARIUM which I've always wanted to play but it's so old nothing will run it properly! The best thing is that once you buy a game it's linked to your account, so that if, say, your motherboard fries itself and you have to get your compy reformatted and lose all your games (I miss you Barrow Hill!) then you can just REDOWNLOAD IT. That's awesomesauce.
So yeah. I like the site. ^_^
And I'm so glad I made a detailed Myst journal so I won't get all turned around and lost. XD
Guild Wars
Madelynn is going "back" to Ascalon.
I actually started the character in the Nightfall campaign, but in my personal character canon she's originally from Ascalon and was mostly raised in Elona. Siren sent along word that her older brother Jake (who Monica has kindly resurrected him as her ranger boy!) who has been missing since the Searing is indeed alive! So Maddie jumped on the fastest boat to Lion's Arch and has been hoofing it through a large chunk of the Prophecies campaign in order to see her beloved sibling once again.

Yay pretty statue of Dwayna! I always found it amusing that the statues of the Gods remained untouched even though EVERYTHING ELSE was demolished. Even Lyssa's statue is still up next to the upside-down smoking crevice that used to be Althea's Actor's Stage.
This was something neat that I'd never noticed before. It's a Charr-made map of Tyria! They're scattered around the northern parts of burned-up Ascalon.

Finally reunited with her brother! Yay!
She's been a busy little ranger. Besides running through the early parts of Proph she's also been exploring the Shiverpeaks. Here she is outside Grenth's Temple in Lornar's Pass.
