No storks for me, thanks.

Back from Sebastian, and a very interesting weekend. Crystal's baby shower was a lot of fun. It was awesome to see the "English Ed Gang" (as Kristin has dubbed us). Baby shower's are funny! I arrived like two hours early to help cook and decorate with Justin and Crystal's crazy families. Sean built this big ass wishing well for the guests to put diapers in. I mean, it was HUGE. I was really impressed. After everyone arrived, we played some really silly games (like guess which kind of candy bar is melted in the diaper, and how much tp can fit around Crystal's waist). Though all of it was really "cute", I think I just want a big party for my baby shower. I find myself thinking a lot like Miranda from Sex and the City - no storks, absolutely no storks. BUT - Crystal got a TON of cute baby stuff. I mean, REALLY really cute stuff. I love baby socks. I think they might be the cutest things ever. And I've also realized that when I'm around baby stuff, I overuse the word "cute".

So Justin's house, where the shower was, is HUGE. I'm talking "getting-lost-coming-back-from-the-bathroom" huge. Two story ceilings, a pool, multiple lofts, a movie-screen TV theatre, etc etc etc. Definitely Cribs-worthy.

I got a new digital camera! Finally! I took a bunch of pictures of the shower, and as soon as I figure out how to connect the camera to the computer they'll be available for your viewing pleasure. Don't make fun of me, technology hates me.

I have a meeting with my AP tomorrow, and I'll get to see my classroom and resources, etc. And then school starts. Argh. Damn year-round school! I don't want my summer to be over!! I don't want to have to be a role model to 120 middle school children!! I just have to keep repeating to myself: three weeks off in September, three weeks off in September, three weeks off in September.
