Another Weeked Gone
Yay for Megan Wolfe and Daniele Titsler being in town this weekend, what a blast! We went to Pat's birthday party... it was like somebody opened one of my old yearbooks, turned it upside down and shook it. SO many random people there. Including Tommy Currie... too funny. Daniele and I seriously just laughed at everyone and everything the whole time. Does that make me a snob?
I love Megan and Daniele. They are both definitely the few friends I have that I can pick up right where I left off, no matter how long it's been since I've seen them. Needless to say, I will be heading to Jacksonville soon to hang out.
BASEBALL SEASON STARTED SATURDAY. Thank the Lord - I've been so bored without a sport to follow (I HATE basketball, but I was so desperate I even went to a few games). Saturday was GLORIOUS. We won in a very close game against VMI. Tied up in the bottom of the ninth, two outs, Esteve walked and then Derrick Smith hit a grounder to right to drive in the winning run. Today's game got rained out, which is sad, but at least that means a double header tomorrow... twice the fun! I also got to hang out with the whole baseball crew, and it's been awhile since that happened: Me, Chris, Cristina, Steve, Jessica, a little Shane for good measure. And Danny Wardell looks as good as ever - he's a little shaky starting at first base, but damn what a body.
Well, time for a Super Bowl party... hoorah for beer and football!
