Fuck Hurricanes
Well I know that it's been a while, usually it takes me a while in between entries. For those of you who don't know there is a fairly large hurricane that has its sights set on the Texas coast. My family and I have been getting things ready and have been going back and forth between if we should get out of here or not. We have made a decision(or my parents have officially made the decision) and we are going to ride the storm out. The roads are just way too crowded and it would take way too long to get out of here. We have things that we need, lots of ice, batteries and for those who know me and my family you know that there is not a shortage of either flashlights and candles. We have food to eat and a lot of water, cokes, things to drink. So now we are just waiting and hoping that we are doing the right thing, hoping that our house will still be recognizable, hoping that everyone I know makes it though this. Most of the stuff has been taken care of, we still have stuff to do, waiting for the heat to let up a little. Of course we are having record heat today, not making it easier for anyone to get things ready. But I will try and keep this updated about what's going on!
