Penny Lane: Part III
I'm still having sweats and tummy cramps over the fate of the sweet and beautiful Penny Lane.
She's been staying with us for over a week, and slowly but surely nestled her way into our hearts. She hasn't messed in the house since the first day she was here, and she's such a love to have around. Miki still can't decide whether she's friend or foe... but I caught him kissing her earlier this morning.
I've given her uberfleabegone medication, and I'm taking her over to the vet's this afternoon to get her full round of shots. If our favorite couple can't adopt her (fingers and toes crossed though)... she may very well be staying with us. I know it will be somewhat difficult, more work and far less convenient that one dog, but I can't bear to think of her going to a home where she'll be anything less than adored.
I'm going to go furrow my brow now.
