these are the moments
wow. these past few days = wonderful times 983164729568. no seriously, i dont think you can even begin to fathom how in love i am with the city..
+ daddy and i went to washington dc, yesterday, for a business trip. drove the 3 hours it took to get there, stopped by our hotel on embassy row, and walked 837496 blocks to ruths chris steak house ---> aka, the best steak house in the world (ok ok, its tied with mortons of chicago. lol) but really, walking around the streets of dc.. i dont even know how to describe it. i just felt at home, and i loved every minute of it.. all the people, the city in the summertime. i cant help it - im a city girl at heart. but yea, ruths chris was awesome, as usual ♥ and i had the best new york strip ive ever had in my life. gawd i love that place.
- of all the places ive been in my life, and taking into account my love for the city, its hard to believe i havent ever been to new york!! crazy, huh? yea, def think a road trip is in order.. and soon.
__its official. i am living in dc // or at least some big city // when im done with school and out on my own. its where i belong. im serious. just you wait__
daddy dearest woke my ass up at 7 this morning. the nerve of that man.. haha. i most def fell back asleep until like 7:30, we had a looong day ahead of us. and i needed a starbucks. no time nerd. our last meeting was in maryland and it got cancelled -- i couldnt have planned it better myself, it was lunchtime and we were right next door to a chipolte ♥♥. needless to say, my day was grrrreat!
+ the ride back, daddy drove, and i got to finish my book (the gossip girl series... seriously, its the best. read it. and should take at least partial responsibility for my new found love of nyc -- maybe my dad will buy that piece of manhattan real estate. how great would that be??)
- we got back and markypoo came over so we could watch summerland. that didnt happen, the guys were more intrested in the allstar game. ugh. i figured id be a sport and not complain. hes now asleep on my couch, i think im just gonna go crawl there next to him. :) <333 i missed him.
