playing in the rain...
i just had the best day ever!! it was so much fun. who knew you could have so much fun with a 9 year old and a 12 year old. it rained again, (for like the 100th time in a row) but that didn't stop us, me and carly played in the rain, we were shooting hoops and playing with this velcro pad that you catch the ball on. i don't know, it was fun, i want one, but it broke so we went back to shooting hoops. then mat came home and he played out in the rain with us as well. mat and i were in our clothes, and carly was in her suit with shorts ontop. i wasn't wearing the best thing to be out in the rain, but whatever, i didn't care and neither did they. so it started raining harder and mat suggested we go jump on a trampoline. i love jumping on trampolines, and then you add the rain, and it makes it twice as much fun. i think mat was right, you do jump higher when it's wet. it was so much fun. jumping and getting wet. and then when we'd get too dirty, we'd run back across the street and the two of them would jump in the pool. i would have, but it was almost 3:30 and i didn't want to be soaked when i went home, so i only put my feet in. then we played monkey in the middle, that was fun. i haven't played that game since i was about 11. it was so much fun, i felt like such a little kid again. while the kids swam, i shot more hoops, it was fun. then we played frisbee. i was standing on the steps of the pool and mat and carly were in the pool. it was fun, but i was always the one who chased after the frisbee since i wasn't actually in the pool. i think they had the most fun in the pool because they got wet from both sides, above and below. i had the most fun on the trampoline, it makes me want a trampoline all over again, or at least a fried who has one!! :) this day most definetly beats yesterday. yesterday wasn't that great, i didn't feel too good, which in turn made me have a bad attitude and question things that didn't need to be questioned. but i'm better today, everything is great. i hope it rains more often, this was fun playing in the rain.
