So Chris and I went to go look at some free kittens today. It was an elderly couple who took in strays and neutered them and found homes for kittens and such... The mom was short haired but the dad obviously wasnt... they were probably a persian mix and they were GORGEOUS.... and i seriously considered bringing one home... but then i started thinking about the maitenance of a long haired cat and called my aunt to ask her the difference... and she said she actually liked long haired cats better and they shed less... you just have to brush them.. and so i thought about it.. but then i cant bring myself to give up on my kitty yet... when i met her, she just stole my heart away... and these kittens were precious.. but they didnt steal my heart like she did.. so we have to call these people back tomorrow and explain why we dont want their kitten... even though we spent a long time there today... and i feel bad... but i just want to wait a little longer to give my kitten a chance even though its extremely likely shes long gone... *sigh*
i hope i can find a kitten that steals my heart like that again... oh, and these were really wild and didnt particularly want to be handled so i was scared as to how theyd grow up even though theyd change to how i raised em... i think im just still stuck on my long lost kitty... ..... ill give myself another week
