(no subject)
Today was cold and yucky.....again. But nevertheless we the 3 weed inspectors of the County of Wetaskiwin decided to go out and embark on a journey of partaking in grasshopper surveys. We're kind of dumb because I think grasshoppers hide when its raining..ahh well...things went faster i guess. Anyway it was a pretty good time....especially after lunch when we were in the middle of this field and it started to POUR..haha...soooo funny we started to run back to the truck and jolin was just screaming GO GO GOOOO..haha i was laughing so hard it was hard to run...anyway we all had problems climbing back through the barb wired fence and by the time we were all back in the truck...we were soaked. Not cool to spend the rest of the afternoon in wet clothes. Anyway that kind of dampered our moods..so we went back to the office shortly after that.
So we're sitting in the office and jolin is all antsy because she wants to call people and tell her about the new house shes buying...(oh FYI her and her boyfriend bought an awesome house yesterday). So we're sitting there and Erin's cell phone starts to ring...not such a weird thing because her ex has been calling her alot lately and shes just been shutting the ring off and not answering the phone. So she shuts it off and then all of a sudden it starts to ring again...we look at each other and i was like holy crap erin he must really want to talk to you....and then we look over at jolin and shes just killing herself laughing....the stupid retard had been phoning erins cell phone from the phone at her desk....Haha...so heres the kicker...erin tells her to call her back because she wants to here about the house. Truly retarded but we really have nothing better to do. So JOlin calls erins cell phone and then they sit there and have a conversation...i think the best part was when Jolin said "Ok i want to come over and tell u about it..i'll just roll over to your desk." This is where i started to cry from laughing so hard....probably a "had to be there moment" but it was funny.
Then we started talking about this public works lady that wears half her hair on the top of her head in this really dorky ponytail....so then jolin gets the brilliant idea to put her hair up in a ponytail on top of her head...all 80s style. Oh maaaaaaaannn she looked hilarious..so of course me and erin had to join....so there we are..all 3 of us sitting there with our 80s hair. Its really a shame no one walked up..that would have been interesting to explain what we were doing. Apparently I carry it off quite well....lol
So anyway i came home..put my pajammas and elmo slippers on and made myself some hot chocolate and watched sex and the city....haha..i was cold and grumpy before but i'm better now. And then I had a nap..it was glorious...and now i'm going to go frame my winnie the pooh pictures so they'll be ready to hang up at home when i move back in 2 weeks...YAYYYYYYYY
P.S. If you haven't yet go see wedding crashers..it was funny AND will ferell has a cameo at the end which makes any movie worth going to see.
