So, My friend noticed Thirteen was on, and remembered hearing great things about it in middle school. So we watched.
I think it's the worst movie I've ever seen. But all I see is people think it's a 'heartbreaking and terrifyingly realistic portrayal of Teenage life'
Fuck no. Yes, teens drink, have sex do drugs and all that lovely stuff.....but not at this overdramatic point. One girl doesn't decide to that she wants to be a slut the moment she walks into middle school. The characters have no realistic motivation, the dialogue is the most hackneyed I've ever seen and the plot is hardly coherent. A lot of people say you need to know how it feels to be a 'depressed teenager' to understand it. Which, is bullshit too. Honestly, ones been depressed at one part of thier life. Shit happens. But....this amount of drama doesn't exist. so angsty....so angsty. Yet...all I hear is critical acclaim :\. I don't get it D:. Regardless, it gave be an hour of so of laughs, so I suppose I can't complain~
