Severus sat in one corner of the dimly-lit Great Hall, glaring at the crowd in the middle of the room. He ignored the others at the table- his so-called “friends”, not that they had ever shown him the kindness she had. But he had ruined everything. And that was why he was sitting here, watching her dance with him.
The music slowed, and Severus ground his teeth as Potter pulled her closer. He felt his hate for the Gryffindor increasing, if that was possible. Finally, he couldn’t take it anymore. He abruptly got up and stormed back to his dormitory.
