God Bless Bank Holidays
Yes I do realise it is not a bank holiday but it was last weekend so I have two weekends off in a row once again! Hurrah! Time to do things and chill too.
Last weekend was sort of hectic with visits to friends and family and all the rest but this weekend has been lovely and loungey apart from the frenetic activity on the wii fit. Never has exercise been so hilarious, although I'm not sure I could keep it up on a daily basis without the spectator element laughing at/with me. Things just aren't as funny on one's own.
Today has been a very productive shopping day where I spent lovely everyone's lovely vouchers from my birthday and am now suitably kitted out for the summer. My personal goal was not to be wearing the same skirt I bought for Rome nine years ago when I go this year, although this will probably still happen as I've just remembered about churches :).
Oh yeah, we're going to Rome on the 22nd (we meaning The GC and I, rather than the more classical pinkymonster and I combo) we have rented an apartment very near where I used to live and I'm starting to allow myself to fantasise about real coffee again.
And obviously Protestant work-place is not rubbing off on my sufficiently as I've decided not to work for the summer but just to relax through july and take lots of driving lessons. This is all the news that's fit to print at the mo. Bank holidays also mean I have time to post, the following weekend but what the hey.
