The Birth Date [Meme]~
Tagged by tossino , and since my birthday is actually tomorrow by Eastern time standards.. it's kinda interesting, what with the timing and all. XD
And so, the rules for this meme are:to go to Wikipedia, type in the month and day of your birth (like March 1) and search it. Once this is done, look at the page that results and pick three events, three births, three deaths, and three holidays. Oh, and add some commentary of your own as well, for the lulz. ~
So. On March 1st, these things happened:

1700 - Sweden introduces its own Swedish calendar, in an attempt to gradually merge into the Gregorian calendar, reverts to the Julian calendar on this date in 1712, and introduces the Gregorian Calendar on this date in 1753. (SWEDEN! For Tossino! -shot-)
1815 - Napoleon returns to France from his banishment on Elba. ( I always thought that was cool. XD)
1953 - Joseph Stalin suffers a stroke and collapses. He dies four days later. (Even so, that sucks, D:)

1959 - Diamanto Manolakou, Greek politician (Because he has the coolest name ever. So yeah. -shifty eyes-)
1969 - Dafydd Ieuan, Welsh drummer ( Super Furry Animals) (..This one speaks for itself. Please excuse me while I lawl a bit. XD)
1994 - Justin Bieber, Canadian pop/R&B singer. (YESSSSS. XD -sarcasm-)

1792 - Leopold II, Holy Roman Emperor (b. 1747) (Interesting, considering I've been self-studying European royalty recently. o.o)

1980 - Wilhelmina, high-fashion model and owner of model agency (b. 1940) (I know nothing about her, but.)
