hope everyone had a good holiday yesterday whether you chose to celebrate it or not. mine was very good. valentine's day used to bother me, but this year, it made me realise how much i really do love the people in my life, and that (suprise!) they love me too. i was in and out of the house going to and from classes and just about everytime i came back back, there was a new little something on my pillow from one of my roommates! later that night,went to Mel's for dinner with the roomies, came back and watched Roman Holiday with monica...i have made it my goal in life to subject her to as many movies as i can while she is in my grasp.
tuesday night, Aarti and i went to Zellerbach to see the CAKE concert and it was so great! i dont care that this band has practically been around forever and while still having one or two great "radio songs", has never really "made it big". i dont care. i love them and thier music.
Aarti and i had great fun mocking the lead singer of the opening band. yes, sad to say, it is not enough that the music was good as well as the singer's voice...we demand dance moves that are not straight from the 70s!! seriously, put a dark wig on the kid from That 70's Show, and theres the lead singer...
im sure there are other things that are going on in my life but i can't really think of them at the moment...did any of you have fantastic valentines day plans that you just have to share with the world (or at least me)??
