We've been concerned about your vision for a while now. I'm glad you've had it looked into (no pun intended) and have a treatment potentially scheduled even if it does mean surgery. You have our best wishes.

Thanks. I'm not surprised you've been concerned, the way I stumble up your driveway.

Yes, those have been some of the more worrisome times. I always wonder if there's enough light for you to see by even though I don't know if more light would help you any or not.

You'd have to flood the front of your house with near daylight, and I don't think your neighbors would appreciate that. I just recently tried a flashlight to get up Madge and the Captain's driveway, which is a lot worse than yours, and that seemed to help. I'll have to try to remember to try that at your place.

That is exciting news! Good luck with all the various ins-and-outs of having it become possible.

Oddly, I'm not too concerned about having surgery. The specialist said I will be groggy and out of it. I am a little worried about the healing process. It sounded as if it could take up to three months before we'll have a good fix on how successful the surgery is. I know me. I'll be impatient long before then.

Yes, crap indeed, though with a potentially good outcome. Thanks for the well wishing.
