Hmmmm....
SXSW weekend was wonderful...didn't have a badge or a wristband, but I still saw some good (free) shows, copped some free shit, and got in a lot of excellent people-watching.
Took the girl visiting from our Panama team on a tour of the town on Thursday and saw the free Spoon show (but missed Blackalicious, boo)...On Friday Nosa (aka Nosaprise) played at Club One 15, and Courtney came out to check it out with Tomas and me...then she went home and we headed over to meet Sam, Christine, and Chad at the Adult Swim party. Madvillain and MF Doom and FREE Red Stripe, holla!
On Saturday had late breakfast at Las Manitas, then saw Nada Surf at Waterloo, the Lemurs(?) and Apollo Sunshine downtown...tried to take a nap but woke up too late to go downtown again so ended up drankin and playing Guitar Hero with Stef, Philip, Adam, and a couple of kids they knew at tha heezy. Have you all played that game?? Because it is awesomely awesome. Did I mention it's awesome? It's also automatic, and does in no way bar plex.
Also I got hired full-time at Dell with a nice raise. I am concentrating on seeing the good in that but not overlooking the bad. The money and benefits are good, and I can learn a lot working there if I want to. The bad?
