I am just starting out in the lolita fashion. I have taken an interest in the style since high school, and only now am able to purchase it. I am a Junior in college, taking a year off. I am switching majors from Art to Asian studies, because I have a knack for languages and feel like I will be better able to pursue a stable career this way. I paint in acrylics, but water them down to a glaze (They feel like watercolors but dry faster and layer better. I also like being able to easily adjust opacity.) I am by no means an expert, and have been lurking since...august-ish? September? I am sure I have a lot more to learn. My favorite brands are: Baby The Stars Shine Bright, and Innocent World. I made up this account, along with a facebook, because I am a little leery of internet creepers prowling for lolitas. By a little, I mean a lot. If I continue in Lolita, and begin to feel more comfortable revealing more of my real Identity, I may do so, but for now, I feel most safe just going by Meggie, and having a puppy for an icon. I have a boyfriend, who I knew in High school, and happily ran into years later. Because of this, I am pretty sure I could not surprise him with what I wore If I ran outside in a huge rainbow paper bag with pom poms. I wore some pretty weird stuff back in the day. I like to laugh a lot and try not to take much too seriously.
