one door closes....
Another one sure as hell opens!!! AT&T called me back this morning and offered me a position in their company! About damn time, folks!! Apparently I can still do well in interviews going on absolutely no sleep the night before. I was so right about what Jason's purpose was: to keep me company while I look for another job. He served his purpose quite well :)
This job has 8 weeks of training at the corporate headquarters which is in Troy, Michigan. Why couldn't it be somewhere more fun, like Miami or New York or something. THAT would have kicked ass. Either way, I am sure it'll be extensive training, but a lot of fun at the same time. I'll be meeting a lot of people and hopefully making some friends along the way!
After that the job is located in Brookfield, WI. Decent distance from Milwaukee, so my plan is still in tact. Which reminds me...Jason hoped us breaking up wasn't going to ruin the plans of me moving to Milwaukee because "even though you said I wasn't the reason why you were moving, I still hope you'll be ok" ...yeah, Theresa, you are soo right: He's got no reason to be that cocky. Man, the more I think about it the more I realized how blind I was during the midst of it. But I can tell you this for sure...
I will always cherish the initial misconceptions I had about him.
The Marcus Chapter of my life closes. The Chapter of Jason closes. What's in store for me now?
I'll give you a hint: Dekalb & Florida!!!!
p.s. I'm going out tomorrow night and guess who'll be there....Tim....he's hot, can you blame me? ;)
