my costa rican record

News. News is good. sometimes it can be bad. but this news just happens to be good.
I am recording an album before I come home. My solo artist name is going to be Meggi Faye because thats who I am and theres going to be between 6-8 songs on it, all of which I wrote in Costa Rica.. so therefore it will be about my experience here in Costa Rica. I have some friends here who just happen to be musicians/artists as well so I am going to get them to write Flaminco/classical styled parts onto some of my tracks and my one other friend is an amazing artist, so he is going to do the cover art. I don't exactly know how its all going to come together since I am pretty much open to involving as many creative-minded people as possible, but it will happen because it's all I can think about lately is how cool it would be to come home with a CD for all you folks.. I must play some shows when I get home, The Ford Plant for sure. I don't know why I didn't play there before or just play more live for people more often. Anyways, it will have to be pretty low-budget.. the materials that is.. so I was thinking of doing something like what ohbijou did with the envelope/paper cases because I am sure that would be cheap. If anyone has any ideas for cheap materials, let me know.
It just might look something like this:

Meggi Faye

1. In The Morning
2. Las Lomas es Lindo
3. Airplanes Passing Eyes
4. Lucy Please
5. Lemon Peel Smile
6. Hold On
7. New song
8. New song

p.s- If anyone is interested in travelling or knows anybody else who is interested in travelling.. I need a travelling partner near the end of August-early September. I plan on going to see some other latin american countries such as Panama, Nicaragua and possibly Guatamala. Let me know!
Or even in the future.. if there is one thing I have learned from this experience, it's that this is the beginning of my journeys around the world. I was thinking it would be pretty fucking cool to take a road trip across Canada. are you in or are you in? or better yet.. tour across Canada.
