broody thoughts about angel... 6 years too late
++The progression of Angel and Cordelia from coworkers to friends to best friends to love was lovely (though if I had watched in real time (which, I did, on and off, but was never really invested) it would have been more like painstaking).
++Their banter, their individual charm, their smiles, their rescuing each other - gah! All of it was squee-worthy.
++"I'm only alive when I'm inside you" shall remain the sexiest line ever. In all of TV. Forever and ever.
++I am totally and completely bummed they never got a real kiss. They were all in alternate realities. That sucks.
++Did season 4 have to happen?! Honestly.
++I get that they're the tragic lovers - that's their story - and that even if the universe hadn't intervened a million times over they still never would have worked, but more of... something would have nice. More of a chance?
++THEY FUCKING KILLED CORDY!!! That was unnecessary. Totally and completely.
And in case you're wondering, no, no I 1) Do not have a have a life, 2) Do not sleep any more, and 3) I am most definitely not doing any end-of-the-semester homeworke so I could mange to watch 4 seasons of Angel in 3 days time. But it was with a lot of skipping to only Angel/Cordy scenes if that makes it any better.
I still love them. But man - now I'm all broody and heart-hurty after everything.
When does Glee come back? I need something shiny and cheery in my life again after this.
