i spend my friday nights making out with my cat and watching ghost whisperer

please excuse the massive amounts of fangirling/rambling/complaining that is about to take place.

totally skipped class tonight to watch glee (i mean, i have been a responsible adult all day getting a job and cleaning my kitchen, so i feel as though i deserve it. plus it's been FOUR MONTHS PEOPLE!!!).

anyways.

i expected to be disappointed from 4 months of hype. but, oh glee, you don't disappoint. i love r. berry so hard after that. and i pretty much ship rachel/no one. because really? finn's kind of a douche and jesse is definitely a douche (and groff still does nothing for me. nothing. i don't get his appeal whatsoever). or i guess that leaves rachel/puck by process of elimination.

here's where the complaining starts. i am excited about next week's episode, but... these kids are suppose to be 16 years old. that makes them born in like, what 1994? there is no way in hell that they would be excited to sing madonna songs. i find it highly unlikely that they would even know a madonna song. madonna is before my generation and i am much older than them (and i only know madonna songs because my mother was young in the '80's.).

my younger brother, who is 20, did not even know who ac slater was. for real. how do they expect me to believe that 16 year olds are capable of idolizing madonna?! /end rant.

but i will continue to suspend reality and just think yay, glee's back!

and just for funsies, this is what my mom texted me somewhere in the middle of gives you hell:

mom: do you see that sweater she's wearing?
me: who, rachel?
mom: yes.
me: do you have it or do you want it?
mom: i want it. i've wanted it for forever.
me: dear mom, please stop dressing like a 16 year old girl.

glee
