Because doesn't 8pm and zero degrees with no lights, and no barn sound like the PERFECT time to feel colicky?
Good thing I do night check . My horse. I swear.
Also, I am mildly horrified at how little front teeth he has left since moving here. I haven't seen him crib once, but apparently... Yeah. Feed replacers and mashes , here we come. This horse. I swear. Again.
A walk, oral banamine, 40mins, and his own pen (and pile if hay) later, he seems like he's on the upswing. I am glad for that. Sigh. Maybe he was just cold and hungry.
