Trisha is trying to decide which is worse: cleaning stalls in -20 degree weather, or cleaning stalls in 50 mile an hour wind that blows straight down the barn aisle....
I'm going to go with: both.
The weather has been so different than I remember! I remember fairly mild, somewhat cold winters from high school... yes, that was 8 years ago, so I guess things change. The sunrise the other morning was particularly lovely, but you can tell how 'roil-ey' the clouds are! There are so many sunrise photos on my blog; I guess it is often the spot of beauty I get in my days!
Work has been BU-SY! In a good way though. I'm thankful to have a job that keeps me so busy. I'm sleeping better, which keeps my stress levels down...my neighbor at work is very sick, and I think I'm fighting off whatever she has. I don't think I'll get it, but my body is definitely in 'combat mode'. Evil nasty cold/cough/lose voice, stay AWAY from me!
I rode Mac this evening, in what was probably my least favorite ride of the winter. Icy gusty winds, sunset, ice on the hill. That being said, I'm GLAD he got out, his stifle is just going to have to attempt to keep itself in shape, apparently. Lacey looks as if she's plotting to buy herself a one-way ticket back to Florida, she hardly comes out of her stall when it's gross outside.
Okay, I'm ACTUALLY going to attempt some editing this evening, or some reading. Which is a nice change. I like getting home at 7:15pm, instead of 8pm. Tomorrow is EARLY to work (I'm going to try to leave at 6:30am), work hard all day, return WAYYYYYYYY overdue library book somewhere in there, bible study, sleep. Ready, set.....go!
