keeping you posted-
so job interview went really well. like really really well. i dont think you tell someone what you'd be paying them and ask how soon they could start without the intention to hiring them. so YAY! allie and i will be working together, which will be so cool. not only am i making the biggest jolt (one of) my life- it will be nice to have a familiar face in the crowd. and i ask mags if she would be interested in living together, cuz i know whe works in the city, and i am moving there (most likely- fingers crossed), it would be so nice to have a roommate. one: cost efficient and two: someone i know! it would just be all around awesomeness.
so i was there for almost 2 hours. i talked to christie (the interviewer/ boss) and then she had me go into the classroom and work with the kids to see how i do. then i talked to the other teacher in the room who i would be working with. everyone there seems really nice. it's in an awesome building. it all felt right, you know? this was like "meant to be".
so i will be a preschool teacher, co-teaching wiht another teacher and have an assistant in the room too. it will be full time, money is good (and after working there for a couple mopnths or so, my pay can go up depending on my quality of work), and i get full health coverage and dental. AWESOME. i dont have to dress up or wear special clothes. they said specifically to wear clothes that can get dirty and/or ruined. so yay :)
i was hoping to find out tonite a definite answer, but she needed to check my references. so hopefully i will hear tomorrow? but tomorrow....
i have another interview. florida called me and is interested in hiring me also! i have a phone interview tomorrow with 3 people. they do know about this other interview i had, and that it did go well. so, we'll see...im just hoping i know soon so i can really plan this out. cuz if i am moving, i have to tell west coast, and they will hate me, but understand.
i'm just so excited!! i am finally doing something. and thanks to allie who hooked me up with them!
