Between the Trees

Well, it was a pretty crazy time. the show started at like 7:30 and there were 3 opening bands. Becca and I didnt get there till like, 8:30. Last time she saw them here in gville there was hardly anyone so we thought there wouldnt be a problem getting in, but apparently they were sold out. So we were like, "this sucks." But we decided to stick around and hope that some ppl would leave so we could get in but there was already people in front of us waiting.

During the 3rd opening band's set the staff of the bar were really trying to get as many ppl in as possible. Especially cuz we had been waiting for so long at this point. Some spots eventually opened up and we got in!! I was so relieved.

The show was really great! I didnt know all of the songs, but I knew most of them. It was cool because most of the crowd knew all the words so the singer Ryan had us sing parts (like Paramore does). Ryan seemed pleasantly surprised the basically the whole crowd knew the words so well. They even stayed and played 2 extra songs. The bar they were playing in was incredibly small! Idk what they were thinking by playing such a small venue.

Small shows are cool though because there's not all the spastic fangirling and the dudes from the band (before they played) were just walkin around like no big deal. It was pretty chill. It's odd to me that BTT would play such a small place. I mean, I know they arent huge, but I thought they were more well known, but the band members are still the ones who sell merch and everything after the show.

Oh and something I thought was kinda funny was that there was this huge black dude wearing the 3-D glasses they give out at the movies in the crowd. And he was singin along. It was great lol. just unexpected haha

I took some pics. they all look similar cuz the stage was so small and i couldnt move around to get different shots:
