A Happy Day update
I've had such a good week.
My camera should be here tomorrow!!! I got a canon powershot SD450. Get ready for me to post pictures.
Mommy sent me all these yummy health food bars and a valentines day card. <3 my mommy.
Marc and I saw STOMP last night as a valentine present. It was so so so cool. Had us attempting to make music the whole way home. Em would have loved it.
I always imagined valentines day being a big deal if you had a boyfriend....but really...it just seems sillier. We don't need a designated love day. Its just a waste of money. We ordered pizza and went to the APO meeting...and then he had a test to study for.
Today was a GREAT day at the museum....even though I didn't get much outside time in the gorgeous weather. I got to give the part of the presentation about salamanders and show off the crayfish for the morning class. Then after talking to Anthony about how I'm graduating soon and all....he took me up to living collections where they keep all the museum's critters and introduced me to everyone and gave me a tour. Everytime we met someone he told them I was looking for a job...it was funny. Living collections was really cool....SO many animals. There are things back there I didn't know about at all. Tubs and tubs and cages and cages full of critters. Also several people who were ZO majors in college at state. They told me I can volunteer up there too...which I may start doing...so cool.
Then I volunteered in the living conservatory for 3 hours...which was slightly slow and boring....but I read up on all sorts of things in there. Its so nice when you can confidently answer people's questions. I spent a slow period talking with the guy in charge of the conservatory....its comforting to hear about how all these people got their jobs and knowing I have similar experiences....makes me feel less behind.
