An update on my life. Because you care.
I gave blood yesterday. First time. I was scared. I'm sure April remembers going with me freshman year to get my meningitis shot and what trauma that was. I didn't even make anyone hold my hand through it though. It was not so bad...but definitely more painful than the "light pinch" they convinced me it would be. I could totally do it again.
I had my first day as a teacher's aide today. Seems like it should be exciting. Monday and Wednesday mornings in an AP Environmental Science class. Woo! Today I graded quizzes. Teacher seems like fun. Rock.
AND...I'm gonna volunteer at the museum of natural sciences every friday with discovery room classes for little kids. Possibly wednesday afternoons in the conservatory too. Woo.
So it looks like my schedule has finally plumped up a tad. No more sitting on my bum and sleeping in.
