"You're from Canada!?"

Nov 20, 2009 22:29

First, something I overheard at McDonald's:

"You know why people don't listen to you, you're from Canada and nobody likes that."
"You're from Canada!?"
"You know this is blatant racism."
"Technically, Canadian isn't a race."
"She does have a valid point."

Oh, McDonald's employees, I think I love you.

Which reminds me, I don't love you anymore HIMYM. Okay, so that is obviously a blatant lie. I love you but I am far from pleased. You must have known I would need time to get over the break-up and you go an throw this Don thing in my face, for shame.

I went to see a preview of "When in Rome" this week and it was cute. I wish Lee Pace had a role bigger than five seconds at the start of the film he is leading man material, haven't people seen "Miss Pettigrew lives for a Day"?

Doctor Who owned me. I cried and couldn't process it for days. I really don't want to know what the Christmas Special is going to do to me. I think I might try and lock myself in my room.

Christmas season has begun in EL today with the Christmas tree lighting at Silver Bells. Of course, when I say that the Christmas season has begun, I am ignoring the part where I have had the music on my iPod for a couple weeks now. It just doesn't feel right, it is far to warm for all of this, last week it was in the 60's (which is about 18 Celcius according to weather.com). I've lived in Michigan far too long, warm weather should not freak me out.

xoxo

doctor who, life? don't talk to me about life, at the movies, himym
