Why hello there. Welcome to another episode of "Megan's Life." We will start this episode by reminding all those that it may be unwise for young children to be present, as they may not realize this is not the life of a normal person. Also, for legal purposes, we must tell you that these events were performed by a proffessional weirdo, and should not be tried by anyone, at anytime. And now, ON with the show...
A child smiled and waved at me on Saturday at work. It made my day. Why is it that adults usually complain about teenagers being rude and disrespectful, but think of a time when some stranger was very disrespectufl to you. Who was it? Was it an adult? At work, I get asked where things are in the library are all the time. And children are always so nice about it. But adults? now THAT'S a different story. Anyway, it makes me happy to show a child where a book is that they want. I showed two little girls the other day where Disney Princess books were, and they actually started jumping up and down and clapped their hands and squealed "THANK YOU!!! PRINCESS BOOKS!!!" That made my day.
Yesterday i realized just how much of a computer nerd Scott is. :-D It made me smile. I needed help with my MySpace profile to make it look cool, without using premade stuff like everyone else. Scott knows how to code it, so i had him help me. It looks pretty. yay! And then he told me i could use his website for my pictures. SO...we're in the process of setting that up. I'm REALLY excited about that. he is too, cause he gets to spend time doing computer stuff, lol. It was so cute he was sitting there with a huge pad of post-it notes in hand, with a pen, and he was writing down all the stuff i wanted in these computer terms. And he was getting all excited about stuff. And it was just hilarious. I couldn't keep a straight face part of the time cause he just got so thrilled about the weirdest things. He would be asking me something and I would just BUST out laughing and couldn't stop. He's very handy to have around. Anyway, it'll be a while, but be lookin for an update here that says YAY I HAVE MY OWN PICTURES PAGE!!! It'll be on Scotty's website. I can't wait! :-D
Scott bought some shorts at JC Penny the other day. Then he got them home and decided they looked too "girly" on him. Anyway, he gave them to me! (woo! they actually fit!) They are BRIGHT lime green, and prolly the most comfortable shorts in the WORLD. They're awesome. And they make me happy. yay for happy green shorts!
Today I woke up around 11:30. Wow, what a joy it was to FINALLY sleep in! Although i definitely don't plan on doing that the whole summer. It makes me feel wasteful. I went running today: a mile. Man, I'm out of shape. My goal is to run three days a week. And i wanna start riding my bike too, but i get really bored doing that by myself. lol. So i dunno.
I applied for a new job today. I don't even know if i want it. But i really want a better job than i have. One with better pay, or more hours or something. Anyway, i applied at the bank that i use. I don't care if it works out or not, but i noticed they had a spot open, so i figured "hey, why not"
i guess that's all for today. Nothing too exciting, but whatever.
