You are the Fool card. The Fool fearlessly begins
the journey into the unknown. To do this, he
does not regard the world he knows as firm and
fixed. He has a seemingly reckless disregard
for obstacles. In the Ryder-Waite deck, he is
seen stepping off a cliff with his gaze on the
sky, and a rainbow is there to catch him. In
order to explore and expand, one must disregard
convention and conformity. Those in the throes
of convention look at the unconventional,
non-conformist personality and think What a
fool. They lack the point of view to understand
The Fool's actions. But The Fool has roots in
tradition as one who is closest to the spirit
world. In many tribal cultures, those born with
strange and unusual character traits were held
in awe. Shamans were people who could see
visions and go on journeys that we now label
hallucinations and schizophrenia. Those with
physical differences had experience and
knowledge that the average person could not
understand. The Fool is God. The number of the
card is zero, which when drawn is a perfect
circle. This circle represents both emptiness
and infinity. The Fool is not shackled by
mountains and valleys or by his physical body.

air as being distinct or real. Image from: Mary

What ever happened to the LJ feature that allows you to find users with interests most closely approximating your own? If that feature still exists I cannot find it, still. There was a community based around a user that this search pulled up in almost every case. Somehow that person had the perfect set of interests so that many people pulled them up either first or within the first ten.

Yes, I am sitting here bored and listless. I feel like I should be doing something but I can't figure out what it is. It's like that feeling you get when you go to a store knowing you want something and having no idea what it is you want. So you paw through the inventory and leave with beef jerky and a soda without being satisfied.

I have bene playing the hell out of some Command and Conquer: Generals, of late. My wife can attest to this. She actually likes to watch me play it. My roommates got it for me for my birthday and I haven't really cracked it open until recently. I have a couple of others I haven't done anything with, as well: Dungeon Siege, Megaman X-2(?), and Undying.

I suppose it's a good thing that I really haven't been PC gaming much. I get into a zone when I do. It's almost like sleep. Anyone who has tried to wake me from sleep knows how that is. I love sleep. It's like a warm ocean where nothing is wrong.

I haven't had a real nightmare since I was about 5 or 6. I remember my very last real nightmare. I woke my mother and father with it. I had it when we lived at "Married Housing" in Athens, where they were going to school at the University of Georgia. I have some pretty vivid memories of that place.

Considering the nature of that particular dream I wonder if it was completely healthy. It was either very bad or very good for me. Much like the rewiring of my brain in the Fall of '95, eh? What's funky is that I actually felt that happening. It was like I was doing maintenance on my mind. In the span of thirty minutes I had defragged and cleaned out the temp folders. That was one of the best nights, ever.

And speaking of drugs:
