The Bucket List was number one last week on the top ten, and it will probably be so again this week. Good reason, it's just a good movie. I'm pretty sure I could listen to Morgan Freeman narrate a alley cat fight and fall in love with it.
As I was telling wolfgrrrrl, I keep forgetting I really do like Jack Nicholson. I like Jack post 70's. He really got good around Terms Of Endearment. He learned the knack of self-deprecation without becoming weird. Witches of Eastwick aside.
Grant you, he mainly just plays Jack really well. Apparently, I like just Jack.
The audience was not surprisingly, slightly older than we usually see. Behind me and Dugan sat a group of folks older than us. They joked and laughed so much before the movie we were slightly concerned we'd have to move to escape the "teenagers" again.
The Bucket List was simply a solidly good movie with lots of healthy laughs. I'm resisting (barely) the temptation to go on about some great one liners, but I'll just use the thought to tempt you to watch it yourself.
