Good things come from having a plan, even if it is a vague plan. I spent the 22nd in quite a bit of reflection and prayer. Meditation is something I still have a bit to learn.
I also was smudged! Smudging is a Native American ceremony where white sage, sweetgrasses and pure tobacco is burned, then made to smoke like incense. The smoke is wafted on and around a person, or what have you. I'm sure there are a variety of grasses or leaves burned depending on your desire. For me, it felt like a purification process.
And I did build my first cairn.

It's nestled between two cedars, of which I later had cedar tea. I didn't know one could consume such as cedar tea, but I found it tasty. It was sweetened with honey, so what's not to like anyway? I suspect those of you (wolfgrrrrl) who have an allergy to cedar probably wouldn't want to drink it.
Decisions made include a couple that were made in the early, early hours. I am going to assist the hospice in their grief support group. There are apparently more people wanting to attend group than they can handle. Secondly, I'm picking up the guitar again. My teacher was thrilled to hear from me.
In movie news, I watched The Secret Life of Bees again the other night. This was the director's cut(offered on the same netflix disc). It's been long enough I can't tell if there is a lot more added, but there seemed to be a lot more movie to me. Again, I enjoyed it a lot, caring about all these women's lives immediately.
