Next Day
Well, and then I discovered today that one of my neighbors died. The lady behind me who didn't like SaraJane. Her inside/outside cat would come over sit on the fence and SaraJane would bark at her. Neighbor (also named Sarah) didn't like this. Consequently, she and I didn't talk much.
Apparently, she died some weeks ago. One of the other neighbors and the postman were talking today and decided it was time to knock then call the police. I do feel bad about that, and the dog that died after her.
She was elderly, but I doubt any of us will ever really know if it was heat related or something else. Story is that she does not have relatives in town. And perhaps did not get along well with the relatives she did have.
This is just sad.
